“I’ve always been active until I transitioned into my desk job, where I was gaining weight and unhappy with my body. I was desperate to get into a routine since I was falling in out of exercise crazes and not staying consistent with anything. That’s when I met Sue at POUND. While I loved the class, I kept coming back for Sue. Her positive and caring attitude really made you feel part of a family, instead of another number in an exercise class. I really love that Sue not only pushes me on technique, she also pushes me to improve each day and every week. It’s been over a year and a half of taking classes with Sue consistently and I couldn’t be happier with my fitness progress I’ve made! I am much happier with how good I feel, but also how much stronger I feel.”
“One word – AMAZING! Sue is a great motivator and keeps me in check – her positive energy and enthusiasm for what she does really shines. I’ve been working out since my teen years and her pound workouts and boot camps are by far the best. After two kids, I can honestly say I feel as though I’m in the greatest shape of my life and I owe it all to Sue and her fabulous workouts!”
“I first exercised with Sue as our water aerobics instructor, which was great fun, and then when covid closed the pool, we transitioned to zoom exercise classes consisting of strength and cardio (aka “dancing”!) exercise. I used to belong to a gym where I forced myself to attend group exercise classes which I did not enjoy. Sue’s classes, on the other hand, are fun as well as challenging. We all enjoy Sue’s great sense of humor and the variety of exercises she leads us in. Unlike other instructors who cycle through the same exercises over and over again, Sue invents new ways to make the workouts interesting, while still working the same muscles to give us a full body workout. And Sue’s students sense that she really cares about us and how we’re doing, always suggesting modifications to any exercise to accommodate every level of fitness. I can honestly say that exercising with Sue is the most positive experience I’ve ever had working out, whether it’s in person or via zoom.”
